Illuminations is delighted to announce the first events of its 5th Anniversary, confirmed to take place from October 28th - November 11th 2016, featuring the series' biggest and most exciting programme yet.
An intoxicating and eclectic showcase in modern music, art and film, this now 14-day event - curated by London independent promoters and tastemakers Rockfeedback - re-establishes itself at the centre of the multi-cultural capital. Over a critically acclaimed succession of sell-out years, Illuminations' schedule has seen the likes of Chromatics, Holly Herndon, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Shabazz Palaces, Sebastian Tellier, James Holden, Micachu & the Shapes, Onoehtrix Point Never, Ariel Pink, Field Music and many more play unique London performances, incorporating interactive theatre events, exhibitions and talks, through to Halloween film scores at The Barbican, a night of video game music from ?Silent Hill', and much more besides.
For 2016, Illuminations seeks to remain as engulfing and expansive as ever, celebrating five years of inspiring international genius for the curious and inquisitive. Again collaborating with the city's best and boldest venues, Illuminations will screen and stage events at The Barbican, Oval Space, The Troxy, Electric Brixton, Autumn Street Studios, Mick's Garage Warehouse, with more to come as the schedule develops.
